The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate architecture programs (B.Arch) in India.   • General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2.

  • For SC/ST/OBC, the aggregate mark is 45%.

• Candidates with a 10+3 diploma with Mathematics, recognized by central or state governments, are also eligible.

• No age limit for appearing in NATA.

• Mode of Exam: Computer-based test (CBT).

• Total Marks: 200.

• Duration: 3 hours.

• Sections:

  • Part A: Questions on drawing (manual drawing skills)

  • Part B: MCQs on general aptitude, and logical reasoning.

• Key Subjects:

  • Drawing and Visual Composition: Creativity, perspective, and architectural principles.

3. Exam Schedule for NATA

NATA is usually conducted in multiple sessions throughout the year. The exam typically occurs in April, June, and July, allowing candidates to appear for multiple attempts. In 2024, the schedule is likely to follow a similar pattern, with specific dates announced on the official NATA website.
